Rolls-Royce has introduced a new low-emission combustion system for their future engines. The first test was successfully completed in Canada at -20*c, just a month after its first test run. The new demonstrator engine features the Advance3 and the Rolls-Royce UltraFan which also play very important roles in Rolls-Royce goal of the intelligent engine. The intelligent engine created by Rolls-Royce is envisioned to have revolutionary technological abilities and digital capabilities. This engine is monitored by ALECsys (Advanced Low Emissions Combustion System), which monitors weather and thrust requirements for the pilots. It does this by changing the mixture of fuel and air being sent to various parts of the aircraft depending on different factors.

A new chapter for the Bombardier team has finished as they are able to complete their Global 7000 program deeming their Global 7000 FTV aircrafts as airworthy. The entire program was wrapped up as their anchor aircraft, known as the “The Masterpiece” completes its prerequisites for certification. Alongside the continuous tests it managed to also abide by “full airframe fatigue test milestone” regulations that is required for it enter in to service.

Qatar Airlines welcomes the implementation of their Trent latest XWB-97 Engines. Constructed by Rolls Royce, the engine is the largest of its kind and also the largest, most efficient civil aero engine in the world. The -97 models was based and manufactured on the previous Trent XWB model also known as 84,000lb thrust version.
